  • Ceasar Salad Dressing

I'm in the third day of induction and I've been eating a lot of salads with the appropriate veggies. My question is regarding the dressing. I've read that oil & vinegar is low carb and also ceasar. I've been eating ceasar dressing at least once a day and all of them day 1g carbs, but in the ingredients there is sugar (way down the list). Is it ok ot eat the ceasar or should I avoid it alltogether even though it only is 1g carb? Thanks.

    Re: Ceasar Salad Dressing

It would be better to choose blue cheese or oil and vinegar, but fresh made Caesar is fine. The bottles stuff you have to watch (that goes for the blue cheese dressings too). How far down the list is the sugar? Generally if sugar/corn syrup/fructose/etc. are sixth or lower on the list of ingredients then the amount is likely too small to cause much of a problem as long as you keep your servings small.
