  • Franks Hot Sauce

    Can i have franks hot sauce during induction.....the ingredients are distilled viegar, red cayenne pepper, water, canola oil, paprika, xanthan, gum, sodium benzoate (as preservative), natural butter, garlic poweder.............can i eat this on induction it has no carbs no fat sodium is 460 mg and potassium is 25mg

    The ingredients are fine. However, the carbs are not really 0. Spices have net carbs, peppers have net carbs, vinegar has some carbs too... so the sauce will have carbs.

    According to the USDA database, hot sauce has 0.08 net carbs per teaspoon.

      It is delish on chicken wings with some butter added

        Frank's Hot Sauce ingredients: Aged Cayenne Red Peppers, Vinegar, Water, Salt and Garlic Powder.

        The one you are using is the Frank's Buffalo Wings sauce with more than twice the sodium of the original. Personally, after you finish that bottle I would try the original version and add your own butter. Much much tastier and with less sodium and chemicals.
