Well, since I'm only on Day 17, I'll tell you what I'm hoping. I'm HOPING I can lose the weight and then enjoy the foods I love, just not on a daily basis. Meaning, if it's my birthday, I'm going to have cake, you know? Just not eat dessert nightly (which I used to do). We'll see how it works out.
But, I have a friend who did Atkins to lose about 75 lbs. and he will go out on special occasions and eat what he wants but then gets right back on the horse the next day, like nothing ever happened.
As for the yo-yoing, it's just not healthy for our hearts, our organs, our bodies.
