If you are in the right frame of mind, it really isn't that hard. You may experience a couple of days with slight headache, etc...but after that you will feel wonderful.

Plan ahead, know how you're going to deal with 'challenges'...be prepared.

    You will do great.

Thanks. Its just kind of hard to plan out meals without the foods that your used too. I bought chicken breast for dinners and lunches for all week but what kind of food can you eat on the sides since you cant do vegetables??

If your only vegetable is potato... then you can't eat that indeed. But during all phases of Atkins, you MUST eat vegetables.

This is the Acceptable Foods List for Induction: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html

Also... Atkins is a high fat diet. Chicken breast is fine to eat, but add some fat (oil, butter, mayo) to it.

Do you have a copy of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002)? You need to read the book.

Can't do vegetables?? Yikes, where did you hear that?? Vegetables should be the majority of the carbs you eat.

I've been doing this since February, and have never gotten frustrated with the food choices.

            experiment and expand!

Well most of the vegetables that I like, is not on the list, like corn, broccoli, brussel sprouts, green beans, peas. I eat lettuce and cucumber in my salads but thats about it. Also, how much do you guys workout to see results in the Induction phase? Thanks everyone! =]

Okay... so I figure out you don't have the book. Did you at least check the Acceptable Foods List?

                      Broccoli is fine.

                      Brussels sprouts are fine.

                      Green beans are fine.

                      >>I did check the list...>>

Then you should have found the first two! Green beans are called "string" beans on the list.
