  • Is this Normal??

Hello everyone. I am on my 2nd week of induction. I have found that my appetite is decreasing. I normally would love that except that I know that you have to eat especially with exercise. But yesterday I was hardly hungry at all until later in the afternoon/early evening. Is this normal with Atkins? I have never experienced this with any other diet I have been on.

Thanks for any answers. You guys are a great support system!!

Yes, it's a "side effect" of ketosis. It won't last forever.

Some days you won't be as hungry as you would expect. Make sure you eat something to keep your blood sugar stable. If you are not hungry for a meal, have smaller meals throughout the day.

Great. That makes me feel better then. i prefer eating smaller meals during the day anyway. I have ordered the book so maybe soon I won't have to ask all these questons! Lol.

Good for you for ordering the book, but whenever you have questions... don't hesitate to ask.
