    morning!!

so i had two boiled eggs for breakfast,
brought my snap peas for morning snack- 1cup because it's an OTHER vegetable haha..got it!!
i brought all my ingredients for big mac in a bowl, and forgot my sauce . im going to go to the grocery store at lunch and see if i can find low carb and sugar free thousand island dressing with less than 2 carbs per serving
afternoon snack will be- another egg
dinner- pork chop, roasted tomatoes again(they were delicious!!), caluflower mashed "potatoes" with real butter!!! REAL BUTTER!!!

snack later sugar free jello and 2tbs whipping cream.

my ketosis stick says im in ketosis..even though i know that you've all said to not get them, i had them at the house for checking sugar levels before, so i'll use them till they are gone. it's nice to see the ketosis on the stick, even though i know that you can be in ketosis without it necessarily showing up- i've read the articles posted by J, and the conversations in the fourm

    have a successful day everyone!!

Congratulations on the pants ... that's a better way to tell how things are going than peeing on a stick!

That really sucks - I hope you can get as much rest as you need over the next few days! I also hope someone makes you a nice, big pot of chicken and veggie soup to help you through! Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes

lol, thanks i'll be sure to show that recipe to the hubby.

i have a question about mayo...i was just over at the store and every single brand name of mayo had sugar in it... some were the second last ingredient...but..it's still sugar...so what kind of mayo are you all buying?? im going to make my homemade stuff again now...but i'd like to know what you have that is different...hellmann's.everything..it was mayo..not whipped dressing, or miracle whip or anything else..it was mayo

Mr. Shrew is in charge of the Mayo (I may have 1T per month, so I'm not picky about ingredients). He likes Best Foods real mayo made with olive oil, but even that has sugar in it. If you are a fan of mayo, there's Duke's Sugar-Free Mayo that will meet your needs - but you'll probably want to buy a few jars at a time!

Fortunately, the site I linked to will ship it to Canada! (Hence the "order several jars" comment!)

i dont like mayo a whole lot. mostly i use it to make the smoky thousand islands dressing for the big mac in a bowl that my whole family is addicted to right now. thanks for the site. i'll check it out over the next couple of days. i have a ton of olive oil here, so i'll probably make my own again tomorrow..didnt have the energy to do it earlier.

                    thanks so much

If you don't go through a lot of mayo, it's probably not worth it to order - you'd probably pay more for shipping than the mayo! My consumption of mayo and ketchup is so limited that I'm not going to hunt down some Atkins-friendly stuff, just to throw it out after six months with less than a quarter of it used. (I speak from experience.) I absolutely admire your perseverance!

Regular ketchup is not allowed at all. I know you know this... I am only pointing it out for newbies wandering through this thread and thinking a bit of ketchup can't do any harm.
