  • This cant be right...

    It doesnt even feel like i'm on a diet! I'm pretty sure I am doing things properly but since i just started induction i will post my menu for all to scrutinize

    Breakfast-large bottle of water, multi-vitamen without iron, 2 large slices of bacon and 2 eggs.
    Mid-morning- 2 deviled eggs (only using mayo/mustard, about 1 tbsp mayo and a drop of mustard just to flavor) more water....
    Lunch - Medium sized salad (About 1 1/2 cups total) lettuce, tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, cheese, and dressing ( 1.2 carbs in the dressing) and some shredded ham on top...even more water....
    Dinner - Havent ate yet but I am thinking a nice steak and some cabbage and cauliflower and maybe a glass of coke zero :X

    Lots of yummy food and it just doesnt seem proper!

    If it is right then i <3 this diet.

    Water would be better!

    Other than the diet soda, your menu looks good.

      sOunds Great.... but take Atkingirls advise... Water would be better. Make sure you have lots and lots of water. Minimum of 64oz... but try to drink at least half your weight in oz. Good Luck & Welcome. What are your stats?

        It seems like a great menu to me! Isn't it great to be able to eat foods with flavour while losing weight No more dry rice cakes and salad with no dressings!!
        Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          Oh, I know how you feel...since last Monday I have already lost 8lbs and I am hardly ever hungry. My challenge is making my meals along with family meals in that last night I made low carb cream of mushroom soup and grilled cheese and turkey sandwhiches for everyone but I forgot to have my "bread" ready to go...so a meal that should have taken 10 minutes to make ended up taking close to an hour...but at the end of the day...I am so not hungry and the water really helps two. I have about 2-3 diet Dr. Peppers a day and drink around 72-100 oz's of water everyday. But the water does help a lot in curbing the hunger.
          Keep it up!!!

            My stats...I'm 28 years old, 5'8", my starting weight is 319. I am not sure of my goal yet, perhaps somewhere around 150 so I have a longggg way to go but I am on second induction day and this morning I had already lost 3 lbs!! So I am down to 316. I am so happy, yes I am eating yummy food, full all the time and loosing weight, its freaking amazing to me

            Oh and i had about 120 oz of water yesterday, although i did have the coke zero at dinner, just a small glass, but I will try and not have it today :X

              You're most likely exceeding the limit on sweetener per day with this amount.
