Well done!!
Keep up the good work
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: One week in and 9lbs gone
Hi again, just to let you know I've not gained or lost any in the last couple of days, but that's ok. No gain ,no pain
.
Crash, I'm 5 feet 7 and a half.
Lilly, I haven't really planned any menu's. I am stocked up with low carb foods in abundance though. I'm pescatarian (not a religion
the only meat I eat is fish.
Some typical meals for me would be :-
Smoked haddock, spinach and double cream.
White fish, baked in a sauce made up of some tinned tomato, double cream and cheese.
Tuna, red onion, cherry tomatoes and black olive salad.
A soup (to last for a few meals) made up of cauliflower, spinach, tinned chopped tomatoes, cream and cheese.
Chopped boiled egg and kipper fillet.
Salad made up of rocket, onion, tomatoes, olives, crispy fried mushrooms and fresh parmesan.
Mushroom omlette.
Smoked salmon omlette.
A tub of shop bought greek salad.
Every morning I have a couple of teaspoons of ground linseed mixed to a paste with cream. Then follow that with a big glass of water, I love the texture of this, and it's kept me regular.
None of the meals I've made have needed more than 10 mins prep.
You asked if I found it hard, a little, during the first few days, but after that my appetite got supressed, i've now totally lost my sugar tooth cravings.
I've given myself a some cheat treats during the induction, I bought a packet of mini smoked salmon wheels that have lovely soft cheese in the middle (soft cheese isn't allowed till later on in Atkins OWL stage I think). Also I've had a mini (single glass sized) bottle of red wine with a couple of meals.
Things I remember to keep me on track.
I'm not depriving myself of anything, because I've always got choice, and my choice at the moment is to do this.
When I watch my friend and family munching down on high carb no-no's. That I'm not alone in doing this, you're doing it too, and we're all in this together, onwards and downwards (with the scales digits)
Toast smells better than it tastes.
Look forward to seeing us all shedding our frump, pound by pound and blossoming together.
Netty x
