  • Help..conflicting advice...carrots!!!!

    Hi,

On the ''official Atkins'' forum it says that carrots are acceptable on induction but Ive always thought this was a definite no-no on Induction.

    Please clarify.

Carrots are not allowed on Induction if you are following DANDR 2002, like we do at ADBB.

Yes, it's unfortunate that some believe that carrots are allowed on Induction.

Look a the list of Induction foods that Dr. Atkins wrote ... are carrots there?

Really? Why is the current Atkins so different from the 2002 book? That is weird. I'm so thankful I have the correct book and am on this forum.

                >>Why is the current Atkins so different from the 2002 book?>>

Carrots being allowed isn't really an "official" position ... some people have taken it into their heads that "whatever you want" is doing Atkins.

The smart money is on following the book.
