  • My Story: Why I decided to go Atkins. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!

The day before I started Atkins I went on a binge and ate a whole pack of mini kit kat bars, some mini snickers, about 6 peanut butter cups and then wondered why I felt sick all night. I finally had enough and said I"m going to change no matter how I feel in the first week. I must tell you the first few (3) days were awful. I had headaches because of sugar withdrawals. I was soooo hungry all of the time. I just felt worse than my sugar binges made me feel. THEN about day (4) I woke up and was not even hungry. I have to remind myself to eat. I eat a small meal every 3 to 4 hours. I am on day 9 and I have never felt better. I have tons of energy now. I actually WANT to exercise. I just wanted to share this and tell someone who may be struggling that if you can stand the few awful days then you reward IS coming and you will be so glad you hung in there! The alternative is back to being lazy and overweight!

ALSO, THANKS TO THE ONES ON THIS BOARD THAT ARE SO HELPFUL AND ENCOURAGING!!! YOU GUYS/GIRLS ARE GREAT!!!
