I started on 236 lbs and currently weighing 220 lbs. But last few days i am on same weight, i don't know why. Last few days i have been eating flax bread. Could that be the reason? I saw in a video that flax is allowed in induction. But also i read in some other forum that carbs listed in that is not true. Please advise.

Because it is absolutely normal and expected not to lose weight every single day.Originally posted by downloadbaba View PostBut last few days i am on same weight, i don't know why.
What flax bread?Last few days i have been eating flax bread.
So you don't have a copy of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002)?I saw in a video that flax is allowed in induction.
I don't know what's listed on your package of flax! I'm in Europe for example, and the carbs listed on our labels are already net carbs and are accurate. If you are in the US, then the carbs listed for flax seeds on the label are not correct (it does not have 0 net carbs per serving). But also i read in some other forum that carbs listed in that is not true.
You can check the USDA database to see how many carbs are in flax seeds: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Wait! 0.3 net carbs per teaspoon? That is not correct.
1 teaspoon flax seeds, whole ............. 0.08 net carbs
1 teaspoon flax seeds, ground ........... 0.02 net carbs
1 tablespoon flax seeds, whole .......... 0.17 net carbs
1 tablespoon flax seeds, ground ......... 0.12 net carbs"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: 14 days completed 16 lbs bye bye
That is quite a lot of flax - on induction it is only 'legal' as prevention of constipation or supplement of fibre, and Dr Atkins suggested adding one tablespoon a day of it.
You might be overdoing it. How has your 'bathroom schedule' been? If you take too much fibre supplement it can bung you up which will add to yout body weight a bit
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

what i found with weight not shifting is dont weigh yourself to often once a week or maybe even once every 2 weeks,as it does get soul destroying if you think youve done good and no difference on the scales.
if your drinking loads of water it does take time to shift,i asked a bodybuilder at my gym about drinking loads of water and he told me if im drinking 5 litres of water a day it aint going to go over night! which is why dont weigh yourself to much as it is off putting but he said its just down to the water,he may be wrong but its worked for me so far, all the best with atkins
