  • Induction over...11lb down!

    I'm 16 days in, finally stood on the scale and I was amazed! Its TOM so I was expecting that i may have even put weight on!
    Just did some quick measurements and i've also lost inches!
    waist: 32 -> 29.2
    hips: 43 -> 39
    chest: 34 -> 32
    I'm just still reeling and grinning! It's just the result I need to keep me sticking to the diet until I reach my goal. I think i'm going to carry on weighing myself every two weeks just so I don't get hung up too much if I don't lose one week.
    It's been so easy cutting the carbs, the biggest thing I love - I don't get hungry between meals and what I get to make is just divine!



    Start weight: 182
    Mini Goal: 158 - BMI "normal"
    Final Goal: 148

    Congratulations on your loss so far!

    When you "reach your goal", then the "hard work" of Atkins begins!

        Great results

        As you have less than 25 pounds left to lose according to your stats I suggest it would be time to think about moving to the main weightloss phase of Atkins and start discovering what foods you can eat and still lose weght plus find out your CCLL.

          I just finished reading the section in the book today, so I'm adding a cup extra of induction veggies and carrying on with that this week. Mmm spinach bake tonight I think, finally got the oven fixed so no more fried foods! Thankyou for the support and advice everyone!

            In the first week of OWL, we are actually adding 5 net carbs of vegetables, not one cup. A cup of spinach is only 0.4 net carbs, while a cup of leeks is 11 net carbs.
