  • First week of induction is over, lost 8 lbs.

I'm really pleased, but need to incorporate leaner meats and more veggies this week. Also, I haven't started exercising yet, which I know is most important for me. And the water is a struggle, but I'm getting there.

It's Thanksgiving week and that TOM and my son's second birthday after that (Sunday), so this week will be a challenge. I haven't had a lot of cravings so far, so hopefully I'll be OK and make good choices. I'll have to visit the board frequently for strength

good morning Marie - glad you joined us here. 8 lbs is great what motivation. Yes, both exercise and water are important - just work it up slowly, you'll get there. I finally started joining the exercise challenges - they helped me alot.

Good luck with your week [my son's bday is the 1st] - wishing you well thru the holidays.

      Congratulations on the 8 lbs!

If you choose to eat leaner meats, you might have to add some fat to them, so that you don't overdo protein.

          Great initial results
          Keep up the good work!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
