Hello, I want to start induction tomorrow but I dont know if my medication will interact with it, is there a list of medications that will, I have New Diet Revolution and they are not mentioned in there, but I was wondering if there was a newer list posted somewhere.

I would talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about medications or your health before you start Induction!

Have you read the list in chapter 20?

I just re-read it, and none of my medications are mentioned, I really dont like my current doctor and I really dont want to visit him If I dont have too, I have had good success counting carbs but I was told atkins is alot faster at burning weight, the food you eat with it is also alot more appealing, I dont know what I should do...

If it were me - I'd get medical clearance if I had any doubts at all.

ok, i know it says a complete physical, but what type of tests specifically should i ask for?

Do what I did - I went to my doctor and I said, "Doc, I wanna do Atkins". My doc wasn't familiar with the details, so I had my book along, and was able to thumb through it with her.

I'm on a regular cholesterol medication and an occasional muscle relaxer (plus I have proteinuria - but apparently it's not related to kidney function - if I had kidney issues I couldn't do Atkins), so we talked through all that and she gave me the thumbs up to go on Atkins.

Make sense?
