Also - for a nice, legal salad dressing, I like a basic Greek dressing - 3 parts olive oil, 1 part lemon juice with oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Very tasty and no added sugar (which is found in many commercial dressings).
That sounds good, shrew.
Today I bought a couple of bottles of flavoured oil - lemon and oregano varieties - maybe just blending the two together will give a similar flavour Thank you for the idea
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
well before today a lot of cards were from creams and cheese and a little veggie and salads but I am going to aim for the three cups a day and I didn't know we could have as much as 1/2 avocado so I have made some changes and hopefully by the end of the week the constipation will go away.
Ok so today I felt really weird just a blahh feeling. I tried to look for more info in the book about product that say 1-4 grams of sugar but no sugar in the ingredients but I couldn't and I am confused because in the low carb web site that was given to me they use tomato paste and sauce and both those items have grams of sugar but none in the ingredients can somebody explain things for me please!
There is natural sugar in fruits and vegetables - those are sometimes listed on the label. So if there are not sugar in the list of ingredients it is fine to eat. If there are sugar in the list of ingredients it is OUT.
Now I would be very careful with tomato paste and sauce - concentrated tomato would be carby and could give you a sugar buzz so watch it. Remember to are limited to one cup of tomatoes - measured raw and that is not a lot when it is cooked down.
