  • Raman noodle broth, not the noodles

Does anyone know if there is a carb count for the ramen noodle powder packets that are used to make the broth/soup for the noodles? I know I can't have the noodles, but I am curious about the broth. I like that as a soup with sriracha sauce.

Have you read the list of ingredients in the "broth"?

The broth isn't something you would eat on Atkins or any other healthy eating program.

Ingredients for the chicken broth: Salt, chicken fat, monosodium glutamate, hydrolyzed corn, wheat and soy protein, powdered cooked chicken, sugar, dehydrated vegetables (onion, garlic, chive), dehydrated soy sauce (wheat, soybeans, salt, maltodextrin), autolyzed yeast extract, spices, caramel color, natural and artificial flavors, silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), turmeric, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate.

The MSG, corn, wheat and sugar make this something to pass on by.

AND...the sodium in one packet is 1640 mg!!

Yeah, ramen flavoring is basically slightly flavored salt.
