  • Bummer!

I know I have been doing pretty good on the 3 days I have been on the Induction. I have been posting my food & beverage intake each day. Haven't cheated on my carbs...that I KNOW of!!

Today, at lunch, I dropped one of my Sugar Free Jello Puddings. This pudding is what was helping me with my chocolate cravings. I picked it up to put it back in the fridge with the rest and realized there are CARBS listed on the nutrition guide!!!! 12 grams of Carbs in each little cup. I am devastated! I think when I picked it up, I noticed it says Zero Sugars, but didn't note what the Carbs were. There is Sugar Alcohol. What the heck!?!? Needless to say, I have given up my Jello Pudding to my boyfriend and kids.

    I'm so bummed!

I was wondering why the scale hasn't budged at all...Sugar free...hmph! (I know, all scales are wrong!)

    Re: Bummer!

Even if the pudding was zero carbs, I would still not recommend it. It's junk.

And... it's not really helping with your cravings. It's only postponing them. You'd be better off giving up sweets... at least during Induction.

      >>Sugar free...hmph!>>

      It is sugar free.

Of course, it's not on the Induction food list either!

        Re: Bummer!

I hope you have read the book (the Acceptable Food List for Induction and the Rules of Induction at a minimum). If you do so, you will find a specific list of what you can eat and there is no pudding on that list. Best wishes.

          Re: Bummer!

I have read the old version a few times, as well as the New Rev several times. I will just call these last 3 days "Practice"! Today, I will start fresh and eat only what is on the Acceptable list.

            Re: Bummer!

Sugar Free does not mean Atkins friendly or even low carb.
            Do not make that mistake.
Always read the label AND the list of ingredients

            Good luck on your journey
