Well, it's two weeks down and I have managed to drop 18.3 pounds. I am not sure if I should continue induction or move onto the next phase. I still have 62.3 pounds to lose. Any advice?

Re: To continue or not to continue induction....
First and foremost, congrats on your weight loss! I hope you are feeling as fine as well!
If it were me, I'd move on to OWL 1 and begin adding an additional 5g net carb of vegetables, since (1) more veggies mean more pure, wholesome nutrients for your body and (2) moving on to OWL will allow you to begin some very important tasks - finding out how your body reacts to different types of food and finding your CCLL. Those two things will allow you to really develop your diet into a sustainable (and varied, and tasty!) way of life as you lose the next 50-55 pounds (at which point you should move into pre-maintenance).

In two weeks, you've lost almost 25% of the weight you needed to lose when you started Atkins. This shows that you have a (very) low degree of metabolic resistance.Originally posted by Barrett View PostWell, it's two weeks down and I have managed to drop 18.3 pounds. Staying in Induction longer might cause you to drop weight too fast (yes, there is such a thing), so that by the time you do decide to move to OWL, you will have no time left to climb the Carbohydrate Ladder properly. While losing weight faster might make you temporarily happy, this strategy almost always backfires, in the sense that one does not learn how to maintain one's losses and ends up gaining back the weight.
Another vote for OWL.
