  • Sausage on Induction?

Hi all! Hope all is well with everyone!
I went to the store today and picked up some Jimmy Dean Regular Sausage. It does have 1g of Carbs and it does have sugar in the ingredients list. It is not in the top four ingredients though. Would this be okay? All of the other sausage I looked at had more carbs or sugar. I even looked in the frozen section!!
    Anyways, yes or no?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Sausage on Induction?

I avoid sausages... especially if there's sugar in them. For breakfast, I often have eggs with some veggies and cheese... and no meat.

Some people are fine consuming the amount of sugar in sausages, bacon, etc. Others are slowed down by even such small amounts.

There are choices other than Jimmy Dean that don't have sugar.

      Bob Evans, for example.

Thanks! I usually eat .25 (1/4) cup mushrooms with my eggs and some no sugar added bacon, but wanted to mix it up a little. Maybe I should try peppers in my eggs topped with cheese.
Bob Evans? We do have a Bob Evans restaurant but their food isn't sold in stores around here.
Thanks to you both for replies!

Most people can use the Jimmy Dean sausage and not have a problem, but it is how it effects you that really matters. I would say try it and see if you still lose. Good luck.

I get a brand named Boulder Sausage. Boulder Sausage has No preservatives, No MSG, No nitrates, and No artificial colors. And has 45% less fat than the USDA requirement for fresh pork sausage. No carbs!
