make up one cup of salad?

I'm making "sandwiches" with meat and cheese and lettuce. Does anyone know how many medium-sized leaves of Romaine lettuce it takes to add up to my 2-3 cups of salad? Or should I have two, like two slices of bread? I've been making rollups, so about 4 or 5, depending on their size.

In the beginning you should really get used to measuring the vegetables before eating them---it will save you alot of grief when you move onto OWL.

Tear up a leaf of the lettuce and measure it. Make a note of it's original size and how many cups of loosely packed vegetable (as per the Rules of Induction) it made. The torn lettuce you can save for your salad tomorrow.
