  • New Decade, New Me!

Usually I am not a big fan of New Year's - it kinda makes me sad to see the year end. But this year, I was super excited! It's been a really tough decade, and this last year was the worst. I am looking forward to starting this new year/decade off with some great changes - not the least of which being FINALLY losing the 60 pounds I've been carrying around for years.

My sister is getting married in July, and my best friend is getting married in Hawaii in October... so I've got two major dates to motivate me even more!

So here's to all of us starting off the year with confidence, determination and support - may we all reach our goals sooner than we hope to!

    Welcome!

Are you reading Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002)?

Remember, those events are going to happen anyway ... so don't think you're a "failure" if you don't lose everything you think you will by then.

If you do Atkins right, and stay committed, you will lose something!

      Thanks!

Yes, I've actually read the book twice now - hard to digest and remember all that info the first time around!

In the past I would give up on a diet if I didn't lose enough by a certain point, but I am at the point now where I am so tired of being tired, and sick of feeling sick - Atkins makes me feel so much better and energized and I plan on sticking to it no matter what. This is the year for change!
