  • Thrilled!

    I just have to share how great things are going.

    I'm on Day 5 of Induction. It just snuck up on me that it has been 5 days this evening! Amazing. Most other 'diets' I count the hours...and I haven't been obsessed about days or whatever or anything! It seems to be totally do-able WOL.

    I'm feeling successful. I haven't cheated--or really even been tempted to cheat. I've cut my coffee consumption down to one 12oz. mug a day, and have been drinking a lot of water, and I've been logging it all on FitDay.

    I've also been exercising for 30 mins most days using the wii Fit.

    I just LOVE the energy I feel! Wahoo!

          Is sounds as if you are well on the way to become an Atkineer for life!!

          It is so much easier to follow if you are not thinking of it as a 'Diet'
          Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

            Today is Day 5 for me, and I am feeling equally as awesome! Good luck to both of us!!!

                  I am on Day 6 and this is a wonderful WOL

                      Dear All,

                      THANK YOU so much for your warm words and encouragement. It really made my day. Congrats to you, too, who're in the same 'happy' boat as me.

                      I hope that I can make this a WOL. I'm sure loving (?) Susan's recipes--like her, I'm not a huge meat-a-tarian and the variety and way veggies can factor in are right up my alley. I've totally got to give snaps to the Brocoli Crunch Salad. It is fab-o! I must admit, I was toally skeptical whether or not it would 'hold' me for an entire meal (I thought, "fat chance" LOL), but I've had it for lunch the last couple of days and it holds me till around 3:30-4:00 pm when I have a small snack. If you haven't tried it, you should.


                      Anyhow, happy Thursday! One to go 'til the weekend.
