Re: stupid question
Yes, but you need to count it toward your sweeteners, which are limited to 3 packets/servings per day. Each serving of gum counts as 1 serving of sweetener.Originally posted by rail1983 View Postcan you have sugar free gum?
My advice is to avoid chewing gum. If it's only a bad habit, then it's best to break it."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: stupid question
Honestly, I wouldn't unless you're chewing gum with birch-based xylitol or stevia (both natural, sugar free sweeteners). Definitely count the carbs, but really, you want to lose the addiction to sweet, and when you kick the artificial sweeteners, it's amazing how much sweetness you can detect in even meats and cheeses.

Re: stupid question
If you like the extra sweetness of balsamic vinegar in a dressing you could try adding a little of one of the allowed sweeteners to ordinary vinegar to make the dressing. But remember to count it as part of your 'up to 3 servings' of sweetener
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
