  • Induction breakfast without cheese, etc.??

Anyone have any simple breakfast recipes to make during the induction period that does NOT include raw cheese, sour cream, cream cheese or pickles?

I like cooked cheese (prov, motz, etc.) but not crazy at all about american/sharp/mild cheese. Can't stand sour cream, cream cheese or even pickles.

    Help and THANK YOU!

Do you like peppers (green, red, yellow)? Mushrooms? Onions? I think you can have all of those on induction (if not someone will surely correct me). I keep the bagged frozen veggies on hand so I can grab a handful, heat them in butter, add the egg and scramble.

Do you like just plain old fried eggs w/ sausage, bacon or ham?

You could make an egg bake (scramble eggs with cooked sausage or ham, broccoli, mushroom/onion...whatever veggie you prefer that are induction friendly. Spray your muffin pan and put your egg mixture in each one. Bake till set. It's pretty yummy.

Monz chs is ok...add that to the above...I didn't see provolone specifically on the list but muenster is good and swiss, too.

ETA...If you're not fond of eating eggs every day, eat leftovers or anything else that you're able to eat during the day. I used to hate breakfast food! We'd go to waffle house and I would order a quarter pound plate...no eggs, grits, toast...I just didn't care for it. And to this day...if you give me a choice of having a hamburger or eggs for breakfast, I'm going to choose the hamburger.

have you seen not2late's breakfast muffins recipe. it is basically omellets baked in muffin tins.

you put the chopped up veggies, cheeses and/or meats you want in each one into the muffin tin then you crack 2 eggs for each muffin you are making into a bowl and stir them up. pour into the tins and bake in a 325 oven for 20 min or until set. then you can store them in the fridge or freezer and have a fast easy breakfast in a min if you zap them in your microwave or youo can eat them cold.

You can make revolution rolls using mayonnaise instead of cream cheese. If you use only 1/3 of the recipe and cook it in the microwave it comes out more of a 'bread' consistency and can be used for a sandwich!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

                    check your ingredients

the roll is just eggs and creamcheese or as Elizellen said mayo and a pinch of onion powder but you can leave it out. some use a serving of their sweetner.

the flax muffin will depend on your recipe. if the ingredeiemts are induction legal then the recipe is legal.

Well you can have/make anything w/out cheese!! ... and it'll still taste good. LOL
Cheese is just a condoment afterall.

If you're careful of the quantity you can try the moch oatmeal made out of jicima.. It's SO good.

                      Anyway, good luck!!
