You do know you have already lost 13% of your needed to shed weight so you are way ahead of expected induction weight loss!
I know! I can't believe it! I was hoping to lose around 10 lbs during induction. If I lose 4.5 more, that'll put me at 20!!! We'll see, though. Even 1 pound would be awesome.

Bekki, Congrats!! I started this last Monday, Jan. 4th. I was just curious, if it's OK, to ask how old you are and how tall? I weigh basically what you weigh and I seem to have the same goals. You make me feel optimistic!!

I'm 25, 5'5". I'm sure that my actual results aren't 100% typical. Please don't feel bad if you don't lose 15 lbs the first week. I have a feeling that I will lose very little in week 2 to make up for the mega weight loss in week 1.

As long as the scale keeps going down, everything is GREAT!!!

Remember to take body measurements, too. Sometimes the scale gets stuck even though we are still losing fat. Dr. Atkins wrote that the most dramatic sign of fat loss is losing inches.

And at the end of the 14 days of Induction, check out the 7 questions in Chapter 12. They will help you evaluate your Induction results by means other than weight loss.

I have a personal trainer I see every 2 weeks who does my measurements (including shoulders, arms... things I can't do on my own. LOL). Can't wait to see what I've lost!
