hi everyone... glad we're all here helping eachother out to feel good again
it's been awhile since i've eaten this way and i'm convincing myself that all i remember is right, but i just wanted to make sure my menu looks ok, if someone can let me know, that would be great i just have this huge appetite right now, and i can eat all night......

    breakfast: (4 carbs?)
2 boiled eggs w parsley and 2 TBLS olive oil eaten with 1 cup of romain lettuce and 3 large olives (yum btw)
tall glasss of water w 1tsp of crystal light lemonade

    lunch: (2 carbs?)
leftover chicken with mustard and 1 tbls mayo (sugar free)
    1/2 cup d.pepsi

    supper 1: (15.5 carbs?)
1 cup of spaghetti squash (10 carbs?)
    with 6 meatballs (2 carbs) and 1TBLStomatoe paste(no sugar) ( 2.5 carbs)

    supper 2: (2 carbs?)
1 boiled egg w parsley and 1 TBLS olive oil eaten with 1/2 cup of romain lettuce and 3 large olives .. it was a new recipe i tried and obviously loved..lol..

and of course water all day...

so i don't know if i'm off with the carb count? but would love to get any feedback.... so far in 4 days i have lost 7 lbs i hope this doesn't throw me off!!!

    thanks

Do you still have a copy of DANDR 2002?

    breakfast: (4 carbs?)
2 boiled eggs w parsley and 2 TBLS olive oil eaten with 1 cup of romain lettuce and 3 large olives (yum btw)
How can these have 4 net carbs? 2 boiled eggs have at most 1. A cup of romaine has around 0.5. And 3 olives definitely don't have 2.5 net carbs.

What are you using to keep track of your net carbs?

    lunch: (2 carbs?)
leftover chicken with mustard and 1 tbls mayo (sugar free)
Again, I doubt the carb counts are correct.

1 cup of spaghetti squash (10 carbs?)
    Raw? Cooked?

    6 meatballs (2 carbs)
What were the ingredients in these? Where are the 2 carbs (net?) coming from?

and of course water all day...
Did you get a minimum of 64 oz?

i don't know if i'm off with the carb count
It's important to know how many net carbs you are consuming. After all, that's exactly what we're counting on Atkins. You may want to check out fitday.com.

And when you enter your foods in FitDay, check if you are consuming enough calories, vitamins and minerals, so that you give your body the nutrition it needs for good health and an efficient metabolism. If you are low with your vitamins and minerals, try adding more nutritious vegetables to your menu and see how that improves.

      Re: hmmmm?

thanks for your quick reply... i knew i was off with the eggs... i lost my book so i'm just trying to remember while i wait for another copy!!!
i was also counting the crystal light drinks, and d.pepsi but i guess i don't do that, i just have a limit to 3 right?
the spaghetti squash i measured cooked.. am i right on that one for the carb count? i hope not..lol... i do try different veggies every day.... i like variety!
the meatballs have no sugars in them, just some wheat at the end of the ingredient list... i used to eat these all the time without a stall!

i forgot about fitday... i'll get back to that, thanks

        Yep. 3 packets/servings per day.

the spaghetti squash i measured cooked
It's best to measure vegetables raw.

am i right on that one for the carb count?
1 cup of cooked spaghetti squash, according to the USDA database, has 10.0 grams of carbohydrate and 2.2 g dietary fiber, so that's 7.8 net carbs. Remember it's net carbs we count in the 2002 Atkins plan, not total carbs.

i used to eat these all the time without a stall!
It doesn't mean they didn't slow you down. Nor does it mean they won't stall you this time since your metabolism now is not the same as last time.

just some wheat at the end of the ingredient list
Why not make your own meatballs instead?

            Hi Sirine,

            Welcome to
While you are waiting for your book, look these over. They should be helpful.

Some links to read (not meant to take the place of reading the book):

And you will probably be better off to just eliminate the diet soda and C Light all together. They may cause "sweet cravings" and the chemicals in them just aren't the best for you anyway.

Hey everyone. Can we have crystal light? I thought about buying some but wasn't sure. Does it just have to be sugar free? Or no altogether?

Are you looking for something to feed your sweet tooth?

I wouldn't recommend Crystal Light. It's full of junk.
