  • Scallops during induction

I was reading the acceptable foods and see shellfish is fine, but to limit musscles and oysters. Are scallops ok?

Scallops are okay. Check the carb count of raw scallops on the USDA Nutrient Database website. To see if they have carb counts like mussels, clams and oysters. Something tells me, they don't, but double check to make sure.

Yes scallops are fine during Induction. Per DANDR oysters & mussels are higher in carbs than other shellfish so they are to be limited to 4 oz per day. (page 124)
