Re: 11 days into induction.
Welcome to ADBB, Vladimir!
One should not do Induction until goal!Should I stay on induction for another week or two untill I reach my desired goal weight
Induction is not "no carbs". During Induction one eats no more than 20 net carbs (total carbs minus dietary fiber), with over half of them coming from vegetables.should I go to phase 2 and start eating some carbs?
Well... then what you did was not Atkins.I`ve mostly eaten 2-3 steaks a day and thats about it so far
I would suggest you read the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution and, if Atkins is how you want to eat for life, follow the plan the way Dr. Atkins wrote it.
In the meantime, here's some reading material:
"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: 11 days into induction.
Congratulations on your loss so far, Vladimir
As Georgiana said, you need to read up on all the foods allowed on Atkins and amend your menus to make sure you are getting enough nutrition into your body as well as dropping pounds
For a young man of your age it is commendable that you are starting to take control of your weight, but we don't want it to be at the expense of your health and muscle mass
Definitely it would not be a good idea to stay on your version of induction till you get to your goal weight. You need to start to see how adding vegetables and the other OWL foods affects your body to prepare you for eating a maintenance variety of food once you reach your goal.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
