  • Low Carb Wheat Tortillas?

Okay, I have read the book form front to back, and I was under the impression that you should be having NO bread products of ANY kind during induction....
    Then I went to Atkinscenter.com.....
I was looking for menu ideas, and I noticed that the 14 day Induction menu that is posted on the web site has not only bread products, but low-carb milk.....

Is it okay to have these products, as long as you stay at 20 net carbs?

If it is okay, there is a wheat tortilla just SCREAMING my name!

    Thanks!

Atkins Nutritionals Inc. has an interesting policy nowadays. On the one hand, it lists the rules Dr. Atkins wrote that say "no grains, no fruits, no dairy other than cream, butter or cheese", etc. But at the same time, they say it's okay to eat their Atkins brand products with the things Dr. Atkins said not to eat. Makes you think they are only out to get your money doesn't it? And in light of the fact that low carb products aren't selling well, it makes you wonder even more.

Save your money, your time and your grief. Do Atkins the way Dr. Atkins said to do it and you'll get the results he promised.

Re-read the chapter about Food Intolerances and take special notice of Dr. Atkins' observation that the foods we love are usually the foods that cause us problems. It will give you insight to your food cravings and your weight problem.

Sigh, if Dr. Atkins were still alive half the things they have on that website wouldn't be there... or at least not in the induction section.

The grains rung of OWLS is when the tortilla would be ok, so long as its whole grain
