  • Suitable Snacks for Induction??

I work 9-5 at an office so have to really plan my meals ahead to take to work, normally i'll have a salad with some kind of meat/cheese for lunch but then by 2pm im hungry again! Can anyone suggest any induction friendly snacks? Im based in the UK and have tried the atkins bars but dont really like them and they are sooo expensive here! I was thinking maybe a nice dip for vegies?

    Thank youuu!x

I do string cheese, a little baggie of veggies with a low carb dip. I also have boiled eggs on hand sometimes, and recently found pickled vegetables are not as gross as I once thought lol. If I find myself starving without options- that's when I mess up- so in a crisis I stop and pick up a bag of spicy pig skins and a diet coke with spelnda. It holds me over until I can get better choices.
Also- consider adding more food to your lunch- more meat or something filling- maybe you wont get so hungry by 2? Or try the six small meals a day instead of the three.
The best part of Atkins for me, and why it works, is because I dont have to be hungry. If I could stand being hungry I wouldn't be over weight lol

Yes, veggies with dip would be good.

From what you're saying, I understand that you have a fridge there.

This is one of Pau's recipes:

You could also make quiche with some veggies.

sadly we don't have a fridge here, despite much complaining to the boss from everyone! It makes things difficult really! Cheese strings sound like a good idea though, what kind of low carb dips would you recommend? Thank you for the links too, they look good!

cleochatra, your recipes look amazing! Especially the cauliflower chips, yum! I dont think we have popcorn flavorings like that in the uk though, so hopefully they will be just as good with different seasonings, maybe paprika if thats allowed on induction?

Yes, it's allowed. Don't forget to count the carbs.

Defs keep track of the carbs. I place the amounts in the recipes, including net and regular count. I hope you like them! the chips especially turn out well if you have a dehydrator on hand.

Does your lunch include plenty of fat? Eating too little fat can make you hungry again very quickly.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
