    What exercise do you do whilst on atkins?

    Visit the exercise forum for more ideas, but you can walk, jog, run, swim, figure skate, martial arts, ski, etc.

        Whatever exercise you enjoy! Anything that raises your heartrate for 30 minutes a day is a great start! 3 times a week if you're not used to exercising and build from there. Go slow, but make steady progress!

          come join one of our exercise challenges too while you are down in that section of the board we goit just about every thing you can imagine covered in teh ADBB PRES CHALLENGE and I think they still accept any form of exercise you do in the 6WEC.

            Start out slow

            It really doesn't matter what kind of exercise you choose as long as you are willing to do it on a regular basis. If you are out of shape go very slow at first and be sure to stretch out your muscles before your exercise. It does get easier and easier over time.

            Dr Atkins suggested lifting weights and I totally agree with him that it feels wonderful and has excellent health benefits! And it is so good for pain management.
