  • Tool for those from UK

Today I've been using Food Focus - Permanent Weight Loss to measure carbs.

You put in weights, rather than using cups, and it gives you the carb count (it also tells you you should be eating other things but ignore that part)

Re: Tool for those from UK

Thank you for posting that link. I have registered and added the foods I have ate so far, and it seems to be using the same nutrition numbers as fitday does. I don't buy many branded foods, but it looke useful for finding nutrition info for them.

The one thing so far I don't like is that it doesnt give the same sort of % info that fitday does but in time I might be able to work out what it means
At present it says my fat/protein/carbs are -42%/35%/12%
    and fitday says 65%/29%/5%

Also though it lists carbs, sugars and dietary fibre I think it is double-deducting them as for celery, average, 1 medium stalk it lists
    carbohydrates 1
    dietary fibre 2
    sugar 0
then when added to the food log it says it has 0 carbs?!?!?

But a useful tool I am sure for anyone who doesn't get on with the more USA-oriented food logging websites.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
