Pg 109 of DANDR does not mention provolone, but I believe it would fall under the hard cheese catagory since its carb count .6 per oz falls into what Dr. A. allows for.

I've been eating provolone regularly, and have still stayed in ketosis and lost an inch off my waist in a week. I'm 95% sure it's the same as cheddar or mozzarella when it comes to induction.
I'm 26 years old, and I lost weight on this plan in 2005. I'm getting married in August and thought this would be the way to go after making little progress on other diets. I've got 20 lbs to lose for the big day!
