    Re: day 3

Hi, welcome to ADBB I'm in the UK too - there are quite a lot of us on here!

I tend to drink decaf tea (as the book says to stay away from caffiene because it can affect blood sugar) with cream. You are right that you can't have milk, but you can have 3oz cream a day - which I think is 6 tablespoons. You can have 2fl oz lemon juice (DANDR p175) but not actual lemon slices.

I like redbush tea. White tea is lovely. Green tea has caffiene, which I think is ok as low level.

Salad dressings and other sauces can be found on this site: Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Misc. Recipes scroll down for salad dressings.

    Best of luck with it

i used to dislike the cream in tea - now I really like it, and prefer it. Some people mix cream with water to make it more like milk, which I don't like but you might want to give it a go.

Cream goes well in decaf coffee - could have that if need a hot drink?

          Hi George
Welcome to our international ADBB family

I am not a 'bottled sauce' person so get mayonnaise and add stuff to it to suit the meal. Chopped capers or purééd tomatoes can give a tasty 'kick'. sometimes I just sautéé red peppers or onions in butter till soft then add cream to make a great sauce for meats.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

            That's actually an OWL addition.

Lemon juice during Induction is limited to 2-3 tbs.
