    Beet greens, the leafy portion of the beet, are acceptable during Induction
    .

    ANSWER: FALSE
    The weight loss phases of Atkins are not for pregnant or nursing women. The Maintenance phase, however, is okay.

    Salmon and other fish are acceptable proteins during Induction.

    There are only 4 waters that count towards you daily water intake, according to Dr. Atkins. They are tap water, mineral water, filtered water and spring water. All other beverages are in addition to that daily water intake.
