    mission to lose

i would not try and fix my own car or computer as i know nothing about them so im not doing atkins for that same reason im sick of having to count carbs and feeling greese eating steaks and fat all day and having to use the toilet 3 times during the night because im drinking so much water

but look people im perhaps not at the hate myself stage that i need to be to really get behind atkins i understand from reading on here (not skim reading mission to lose reading properly) atkins is for life a real change to what you eat and im not ready to count carbs and not treat myself to a chinese or a pizza once or twice a week for life

if the exercise thing dont work out for me who knows what frame of mind ill be in i may even properly read the atkins book

but anyway this induction diary should now be focused on cheri as she is doing very well its dinner time on day six and apart from upset tummy she is doing great

    George, Like I said previously...
    Well best wishes to you.

Not great that your tummy is not feeling good. It is not a side effect of the diet. It may still be something you ate that is not agreeing with you. Was everything fresh? Did you take an aspirin? If that is not helping and pain persist I would have it checked out

It looks like you are eating a lot of sausage - don't they have sugars in them? Did you check the ingredients.

Drink plenty of water (because you are eating a lot of salt) take your vitamins. Go for a walk.

            Hi, Cheri!

            What tablets did you take?

i am having sausage they are made by my butcher with nothing added
            Not even spices?

And did you ask him if he adds rusk or other grain products... or are you just assuming that he doesn't?

I am sorry you are still feeling rough, Cheri

Mostly when people have tummy pains on starting Atkins it is from constipation, and they diminish once they can get that regularised.

I would definitely get to the doctor to see if she can suggest something to help.

Your sausages sound good - I have given up on b uying them so now and again make my own - I am glad you have found a co-operative butcher who understands what 'sausages made only from meat' means!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

And spices have carbs, too, so they're not 0 carb.
