  • question about protein powder during induction

    hi everyone ,
    can we use protein supplement like whey isolates during induction, haven't seen anywhere in the book . plz help



    start weight =114 kgs
    goal weight =80 kgs

    1st goal-under 110 achvd (6/12/09)

    2nd goal -under 105
    3rd goal - under 100

    IDK I really really wouldn't. I would do a very strict by the book induction if at all possible.

      Whey isolate is fine during Induction. However, you will need to add some fat to it, to balance all that protein.

      Are you a vegetarian? I'm just wondering why you prefer a protein supplement instead of a steak.

        I would love some ideas for not eating meat. I'm almost gagging by the end of day 4.

            if you are a vegetarian Dr Atkins siad folk could use tofu and TVP products during induction. They will have higher carb totals but will be vegetarians.

            if you don't want meat you can eat eggs, 4 ounces of cheese, poultry, finfish, or pork if beef is overwhelming you.
