Lauren - must have missed your post!
When did you post it in 'review my menu'? I couldnt see a post from you today!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Lauren, I think you know the rules by now. I think you know what you can and can't eat, and in what amounts. Yes, it's hard and yes, it takes some will power.

There is no one here who can do this for you. There is no one here who can cause your body to react the way you want it to.

To be quite honest, I think you need a psychiatrist more than you need a diet. You are not fat to start with and your obsession with 'being thin' borders on an eating disorder, if it's not already one. Your relationship with your parents is distructive and it's affecting the way you deal with others.

We all want you, and everyone else, to be successful at Atkins, and we'll do what we can to help. In the end though, *you* have to be the one to take responsibility for your own life.

I agree with BikerGoddess. You are thin, and for your height, that is about what you should weigh, 135ish. I dont know why peopple (woman inparticular) are still obsessed with the if Im thin Im happy method of thinking. And I know what I am talking about, because I was there the first time I went to lose weight. and for the first chunck of my life. When I met my husband, I learned that you didnt have to be a toothpick to love yourself, or someone else. That said, I dont think Biker meant to be harsh, but that is true too, some people NEED counseling, and it isnt about what you eat (or dont) it is about why you feel you should be dieting, or other problems such as your parents. But no one can do it but you!

lauren-- what do you do for exercise regularly? You might want to consider following the maintenance of this way of eating (allowing you more food choices) and do more exercise.

                    Best wishes!
