  • Failed my last induction and trying to come back.

Alright after about 7 days of induction I ended up giving up since I was having issues trying to find foods I could eat that were cheap and I well, wasnt the most creative when it came to ideas. This time around I will put a lot more effort into it. I believe it was about a month ago that I messed up my induction. Fortunately my weight stayed the same so I'm where I was when I messed up.

Mainly posting this because it makes me feel more obligated to stick to some thing when I tell others.

P.S If anyone else is starting induction about now Id be interested in having some one to talk to who is also going through the same phases. My goal is to lose about 40-50lbs.

Welcome back. So what are you doing to do differently this time around?

Linda's low carb site is wonderful place for simple and great tasting recipes if you need some ideas to be a little more "creative".
    Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"
    STAC Restart: 1/05/09
    306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

    Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
    Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

    Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
    Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
    Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

Re: Failed my last induction and trying to come back.

Make a few recipes from Linda's site and either freeze them or portion them out for meals in advance. When you at the same thing over and over you'll get bored and won't stick with it. Make sure you are getting most of your 20 or less net carbs daily from veggies ... read the book so you know what you're doing and will follow the plan correctly.

      Good luck to you.

            Hi Ther

You have been given some great advice so all I want to do is say:

            Welcome to ADBB
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
