  • 1st week of induction, 10 lbs. lost!!!

Yesterday made 7 days on induction; I thought I was gonna die last night, but I hung in there. Temptation is very hard, but I keep thinking about my goal of where I want to be. Like right now, its hard not to pick up something sweet to drink or eat, but I keep focusing on my goal: I want to look & feel good again about my appearance.

Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.

I deviated from the path after losing 100+ lbs. in 8 months 4 years ago. Now I'm back with a vengeance!!!

        Wow!! Terrific first week's results

You have already lost nearly 10% of the total you hope to lose

You certainly show no symptoms of resistance to weightloss Keep up the good work
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

            Thank you ladies.

I am preparing for a stall, I know it will come, its inevitable.

I will make me a Wooshie Fairy poster for my bedroom, to remind me that she will come and visit me to relieve me of the agony of a stall. I have to always prepare psychologically in order to have a grip when rough patches hit. Otherwise, I would lose sight and slip.

                Thanks Courtney.

How long does it take, for the cravings to go away?

I read somewhere it takes 30 to 60 days to make a new habit, and for cravings to cease.

Actually, I'm the Scott half. Sorry if you're disappointed. I'm about a month in and do not really have any cravings.

                  Have a great evening!

I too am about a month in and dont have any cravings. Actually, I am not even very hungry....But for the first two weeks I couldn't stop talking about not having coffee/caffiene. I am looking forward to adding decaf w/creeam & sweetner but think I'll wait another week or so.

                      Best o' luck to ya.
