  • Bread recipe???

Hey, I am just starting out. On Day 2 of Induction and doing great, eating when I am hungry and not craving carbs (yet!)..Just curious, I saw a post earlier (and cant remember where!) about a recipe for Induction friendly "bread" using cream cheese and egg??? Does anyone know this recipe or other Induction friendly bread-like recipes, in case I may want to try em out? Thanks for any help you guys!!!!!!!!

Here is the one I use

    Cleochatra's Best Ever Revol-Oopsie Rolls

    3 large eggs
    1 pkg Splenda
    dash of salt
    pinch of cream of tartar
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly.

Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store them in a bread sack or a ziplock bag to keep them from drying out.

Makes 6~ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per

Hmm, sounds good! I am finding it so amazing to see all the substitutes for regular carby starchy foods! If I'd have known this I wouldve converted to this WOE a long time ago!!!! I will definitely have to check back later on for some "pasta" recipes and desserts and stuff after my Induction!

Some great links posted there, Mission!

          This one
http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...pes-added.html (Induction Recipe Basics--More recipes added)
contains the original Atkins revolution roll recipe which uses less cream cheese and can even be made using mayonnaise instead of the cream cheese to help you stick to your 3-4 ounces of cheese maximum for induction.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
