I hope ground beef isn't an organ meat. That is what I have been getting for two weeks already. (as I read in the atkins book that you can only consume 4 ounces of organ meat a day.

    (sounds gross) yuk

Ground beef is basically what I am living on as a sourse of protien becasuse steaks are expensive!

Ground beef is not an organ meat but why are you just having that for protein??? What about poultry, eggs, pork, fish/seafood?

        >>though maybe organs were mixed with the ground beef!>>

If that's the case, I'd find another supplier.

Just an idea to get a little variety into your ground beef: try adding some veggies like mushrooms, onions, green pepper, spinache etc... to get your veggies in and spiff up your ground beef to a gourmet level... add a little low carb tomatoe sauce, add some garlic, oregano etc.... make a spagetti squash and serve the beef mixure with that for some faux spagetti. oh yum...

Whenever I make ground beef I always add mushrooms and onion to make it go farther and to add veggies. Sometimes I use it to stuff peppers and sometimes I'll make a lasagne out of it by layering with cheese and zuccini stips. Some people layer with eggplant but not a big fan of that personally. The veggies can really add variety and turn the ground beef into something really delish.

If you want mexican, add mexican flavors and do a mexican salad... or fry up a slice of cheese and make a 'taco shell' with it for a faux taco. super yummy. With tomatoe, avocado, cilantro, lettuce, salsa.... mmmmm... good.

just a few ideas... maybe you're already doing them... so just throwing them out there
          have fun.
