  • I must restart

Stupid me. I ate some paneer [Indian cheese] today morning without reading the ingredients. I read the ingredients after eating and one of them is "modified food starch".

Now I must start over in my induction phase. Today is gone. I have to start fresh tomorrow.

    Don't restart.

    Just continue on.

      Ok.

      Thanks.

The rest of my foods today are still on the acceptable list.

Nah - I hope you are not going to spend the rest of the day really messing up - a bit of starch is not going to derail you. Hang in there.

Today and from now on, I'm only going to eat what is on the induction-friendly list until I reach my goal weight.

The paneer is a learning experience. I can't assume things are low in carbs just because they look that way.

I think I learn something new every week. It is a lot of surprises in store for you out there.
That is great that you are sticking to it. Some people would have used this an excuse to binge on something - but I fear they really are not going to make it far. You on the other hand are working it.

good job catching it and stopping it with just that bad eat.

BTW paneer is a nonaged cheese so it isn't induction legal but when you get to OWL rugn 2 you can make your own without that starch.

I hope you don't mean that you're going to stay on Induction until you reach your goal weight.

Good to hear you are continuing on your induction without letting one mistake derail you
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
