Ok so I have done Atkins in the past, lasting at the most 17 days and not taking it really very serious. I am on day 8 and have lost about 7 pounds. I have been doing a very strict diet drinking only water(100 ounces or more a day ) and eating foods only from the acceptable food list. I know many people and Dr. Atkins say to eat liberally during this phase. However sometimes I feel I am eating too many calories. I have found my biggest vice is cheese. I try to eat 3 normal meals throughout the day and eat 1 ounce of block cheese 2 times a day, but sometimes I definitely want more. I have had no desire to eat sweets or bread and really do not miss potatoes. I will admit I am a really big hater of vegetables. I do not know what it is, but all my life they really give me a gag reflex. Maybe I am one of those super tasters. I anyway have tried to eat them and used the cauliflower mashed potato recipe with limited success. I can't say I really liked them but I can get them down. I think next I will try pumpkin with cinnamon. Any ideas I am open on this subject. I will put a sample day here and also if any criticism or advice I am here with open ears.
