  • 18 Days on Induction--14 lbs lost

I am afraid to come off induction phase because I am doing so well and don't want to stall--but I know I need to move on soon.

You're more likely to stall by staying on Induction.

Do you really think that an extra 5 net carbs of Induction vegetables will be your undoing?

And ... you don't get to maintenance without doing OWL!

Because I can no longer take any medications for back pain, I have been desperate to lose at least 30 more lbs rapidly---and have been starving myself by keeping the ratios of carbs, proteins, fibers and fats kosher for Atkins plan----but eating less than is allowed. I really want to follow the plan to the exact amounts this time around and adhere to Dr. Atkins for life---in spite of the chronic back pain I have had for years I feel wonderful with so much energy. Am going to start next phase tomorrow.

congrats on your great start you can do the next phase today just eat more of those induction vegies 5 net grams worth. It shouldn't slow your weight loss much at all as you are not a metabolically resistant person. starving yourself will effect your weight loss though so listen to your body and feed your hunger.
