  • Fitday problems

    Morning

Could anyone give me some advice on how to input customised food into fitday.

If I have a food that is not on their menu - how do I put in the nutritional details?

I have tried and it will let me input the name of the food but not any data.

    Help!

After you log in, on the left you will see a link that says Create a Custom Food. It's in this panel:

Just click on the link, fill in the food label, then save.

      Re: Fitday problems

As you are in UK which has a different layout of its nutritional label you will need to add the fibre to the carbs on the label to input the total carbohydrate number then enter the fibre number in the 'Dietary fiber' box.

This is because most countries outside the USA do not count fibre as being a carbohydrate at all, but fitday being based on the USDA includes fiber as a carbohydrate.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
