Re: Breakfast help!!!!
You don't have to eat eggs if you do not like them. In fact, you do not have to eat eggs at all on Atkins.
Think outside of you breakfast box. Eat leftovers or made-overs. For example, last night I cooked a chicken. This morning, I shredded some of the cooked chicken meat and added a tiny bit of dry mustard powder to it. I then mixed it together with enough mayonnaise to hold the chicken together. I formed the mixture into 2 patties and pan fried them until they were golden brown on both sides---that was part of my breakfast along with a tomato salsa. It took no longer than it does to scramble a couple of eggs.
We have an ADBB member whose favorite Induction breakfast was taco salad.
So get creative and don't always think "eggs for breakfast". Anyhow, I read in a history of food book that eggs for breakfast is a relatively new concept. It only arose during the early Victorian era when it because fashionable for the wealthy to eat these huge breakfasts that included eggs, sausages, kippers (a type of smoked fish), devilled kidneys, ham, bacon, and fried fish. Before that, folks ate leftovers from the previous day's supper for breakfast.

Threads about eggs and breakfast are constantly happening here, in fact I think there were 2 discussions going last week. Go to the Search drop down box above, and enter search words such as "eggs" and "breakfast", you get the idea, and choose "search posts".
You will get tons of posts that have ideas and discussion regarding your subject.
I only eat eggs about 1-2X a week for breakfast, and like not2latesaid, you can eat anything that is on the acceptable Induction foods list. What do YOU like to eat?

Re: Breakfast help!!!!
I am in the same boat BeautifulGrits. I am seriosuly sick of eggs and I really want some yogurt and fruit or oatmeal or cereal.....It's weird to me that I want some good breakfast choices more than I want chocolate!
I don't have any suggestions, just thought I would share that I feel your pain!
Only 6 days before I get some more choices! Yay!

Re: Breakfast help!!!!
If you are craving fruit, why not try some of the sweeter veggies like red sweet peppers as a breakfast "fruit" serving? Or what about an avocado shake made with 1/2 an avocado, mashed with water and cream and sweetener? Avocado mashed with just enough water and cream has the same texture as yogurt.Originally posted by FormerVeggie View PostI am in the same boat BeautifulGrits. Think outside of the box.
And just remember you don't have to eat eggs for breakfast, lunch or dinner. As Lynne mentioned, she had soup for breakfast when she lived in Japan. I often have a hot cup of broth, a piece of cheese and some crunchy veggies like lightly steammed snow peas for breakfast.
