okay so i tend to read the rules of induction everyday and i do this to keep me from making mistakes...but what i dont get is that
    rule number

    3. Eat no more than 20 grams a day of carbohydrate, most of which must come in the form of salad greens and other vegetables. You can eat approximately three loosely packed cups of salad, or two cups of salad plus one cup of other vegetables (see Acceptable Foods).

says that...well there is less grams of carbohydrates in 2 or even 3 cups of vegetables and arent you supposed to get most of your carb intake from this vegetables...?? can someone explain?

There can be MOST of your net carbs in this quantity.

    might help.

My understanding of the "cups" is that Dr. Atkins did that for a visual, for people who didn't want to count. I've seen much success with people counting their carbs, too.

Right, the salad veggies have few carbs, lettuces etc, tomatoes, onions have more and sometimes lots.

Cheeses, eggs, shell fish have carbs and I think what the good Doctor meant was that we need to get most of our carbs from veggies and not from other sources.

      Does that make sense?
