  • Question on cheese limit

My copy of DANDR is in a box somewhere that I haven't been able to find so I haven't been able to look myself.

I'm just wondering the reason for the cheese limit, I suspect it has more to do with preventing constipation than weight loss. Anyone have any info as to the reason rather than "well the book says so"?

Edit: I know cheese stalls some people, but it doesn't stall me.

    Re: Question on cheese limit

On Induction, the closer you get to 20 net carbs, the better. If MOST of your net carbs are coming from Induction vegetables, that leaves you about 5-8 net carbs for everything else.

If you use up all those extra net carbs on cheese, you're not doing well by eating "balanced".

Cheese can be a trigger food for many.

And yes, cheese can be "binding".

Sometimes the best answer is "because Dr. Atkins said so"!
