Hello all,
Had to share this and I hope it motivates some of you who are new to this as well and may be struggling. I'm in my 2nd week of induction. Week one was rough for me. I really struggled with cravings for sweets in the evenings, and I gave in sometimes. I kept it mild...literally a tablespoon of peanut butter, but still it was a cheat. I quickly noticed that as the days went by the cravings were getting fewer and fewer. I also had headaches the first few days. Well, today is day 9. Yesterday was good. I didn't stray AT ALL from the plan and I felt GREAT!! Today is even better. I'm less hungry, no cravings (so far), and according to the sticks I'm in a state of ketosis. I am absolutely ECSTATIC!! I've tried every diet under the sun and have never felt this kind of sense of acccomplishment and confidence that I can stick with it!! I wanted to post this because I had such a difficult time in the first few days. I'm sure there are others out there in the same situation I was. It really does get easier and the feeling from sticking with it is well worth it!
Yay for small successes!!!
